Use the correct pool:

Greater than 200-300 Mh, use P2Pool Network 1. Less than 200-300 Mh, use P2Pool Network 2 (this will increase the frequency of your payouts). Pool types can be easily identified by their ports: http://IPAddress:9171 is Network 1, http://IPAddress:9181 is Network 2.

Specify your share difficulty.

If your rig's time to share is significantly longer than the network's share time, you will start seeing payout inconsistency. You should manually adjust your time to share by appending your desired share difficulty to the end of your address.

Formula:

Your_VTC_PayoutAddress/(1 * Hashrate in Mh/s)+(0.00000116 * Hash Rate in KH/s)  

So if I have 25MHs I'd use the following:

Your_VTC_PayoutAddress/25+0.029

Settings for AMD GPU mining:

Use the following additional settings for SGMINER if your Rejected % is high:

--expiry 1 --scan-time 1 --queue 0 --no-extranonce

Settings for NVIDIA GPU mining:
